Is it really possible to hypnotize people or are they just faking the experience? Hypnosis is truly alive and well within the world today.  It is truly amazing how many people will say, “I don’t believe in hypnosis.” Another comment could be, “Those people are all faking it.”  The best illustration of hypnosis and of how real it is when someone is hypnotized hero she can go through an entire hypnosis show as a subject on stage and not laugh.  The entire audience is bursting out in laughter throughout the entire show as hypnosis shows are one of the funniest things that you have even seen and the hypnotized subjects on stage are completely in trance and not responding to the laughter.  It is literally as if they are at a Saturday Night live level of comedy improv group on stage and not responding to the laughter.  They are simply staying within the show by focusing on the hypnotist’s voice, thus focusing on his/her commands and not responding to the audience’s laughter. This is where the truly focused state exists.  The audience will burst into laughter time and time again as it is one of the funniest things you have ever seen, but the subjects will be stone faced as if not evening hearing or seeing the hilarious scenarios and situations.  It is as if they are Will Farrell in a skit and can keep a straight face throughout the performance.  Thus the illustration that they ARE hypnotized!
