Another excellent stage illustration uses the number 7. A hypnotist can say the following command: “On the count of 3, you will forget the number 7. The number 7 is gone from your memory.” The hypnotist will then ask the hypnotized person to count from 1 to 10 and they will skip over the number 7. The audience will stand utterly silent amazed by the event. The power of the mind is incredible!
