The National Parks are a true gem for America and fit to be explored. From Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon or from Olympia to Smokey Mountain, they are all worth exploring. I traveled with a couple of Europeans and they were mesmerized with the National Parks.

The Grand Canyon is a great place to start your National Park travel. The drive in itself is worth the trip alone. As you can imagine, the views are stunning and if you get very ambitious, you can take the trip down into the gorge and hike the canyon.

There is an outstanding bike path across part of the perimeter of the canyon. Bring a bike and enjoy the views as the paths take you along the lines and into the edge of the canyon. The winter months are a great time, but bring some warm clothes as it can surprisingly chilly.
